Let’s take you on a 6-hour day tour north of Copenhagen where we cycle through the Deer Garden – a UNESCO World Heritage site – a much-loved recreational area with a sprawling natural landscape of woodlands, lakes and century old trees. This is also where you will get to see free-roaming deer and a hermitage hunting lodge from 1736 that was used by kings up through history to hold royal banquets during royal hunts in the Deer Garden.
Along the way we will find our very own spot to enjoy our lunch in peaceful surroundings. We continue to Frydenlund Palace, where you will get insight into this unique historic place, which was once a love nest of a Danish queen and her lover – a love story that had a very dramatic ending.
Included in this tour is a private guided tour of the fruit orchard and tasting of the local organic produce of cider and gin at Frydenlund Palace.
After a fantastic break, we jump on our bikes and cycle along the coastline with fashionable houses and marinas before returning to our starting point/Copenhagen.
